Missing unicorn

“Posters put up all around the city seeking a missing unicorn puzzled New Yorkers this week. The forlorn owner of the lost magical pet – “a large female with friendly disposition,” as the poster reads – offers a finder’s reward. What could it be, we wonder, magic beans? Lucky charms at the end of the rainbow? As it turns out, the posters are a part of an interactive art installation opening at El Taller Latino Americano gallery that took on November 11th, with artist Camomile Hixon, who is inviting the city’s residents to help her find the mythical beast. Anyone who might have spotted the unicorn can call the number listed on the posters and leave a message about the sighting, and the recording will become part of the installation. Yeah, we know, we were hoping there’ll be a real unicorn too…”
